The Singapore Space Agency will be established on April 1st.

Singapore Ministry of Manpower announced that Singapore will establish its first Singapore Space Agency on April 1st. Ms. Yen Li-na, Deputy CEO of the Defence Science and Technology Agency, has been appointed as the Director-General designate of the Singapore Space Agency with immediate effect, and will officially assume office on April 1st. The Singapore Space Agency will take over and expand the functions of the Singapore Space Technology and Industry Office, undertaking five core missions. In addition to strengthening the research and development ecosystem, developing the space industry, and promoting international cooperation, it will also develop and operate national space capabilities, and formulate relevant regulations.
