China and Russia hold "constructive" talks on the conflict in Ukraine.

On January 31st, local time, US special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker posted on social media that as part of mediating the Ukraine conflict, he had a productive and constructive meeting with Russian President's special representative Dmitryev in Florida that day. Volker stated that the purpose of the meeting was to advance the peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict. Other members of the US delegation included Treasury Secretary Scott Benett, President Trump's son-in-law Kushner, and White House senior advisor Greenbaum. Volker stated that he believed Russia was working towards achieving peace. Dmitryev, the Russian President's special representative, responded to Volker's post on social media, stating that the meeting with the US delegation was constructive, and also had productive discussions on issues related to the US-Russia economic working group.
