British Prime Minister Starmar visited China, and the two sides reached 12 cooperation achievements.
British Prime Minister Johnson concluded his four-day visit to China on the 31st. This is the first visit by a British Prime Minister to China since 2018. Both sides agreed to develop a long-term stable comprehensive strategic partnership and signed 12 intergovernmental cooperation documents in the fields of economy and trade, agriculture and food, culture, market supervision, and law enforcement cooperation. Johnson described the visit as "historic", and both China and the UK agreed to establish a high-level climate and nature partnership, resume high-level security dialogue, and tentatively agree to resume normal exchanges between the two countries' legislative bodies. China is considering implementing a unilateral visa waiver policy for British citizens. This visit is of great significance to the future development of China-UK relations, and the cooperation outcomes in the economic and trade fields between the two sides are highly anticipated.
