The Syrian interim government and the Syrian Kurdish armed forces have reached a ceasefire agreement.

On January 31st local time, the Syrian interim government and the Syrian Kurdish armed forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, reached a final ceasefire agreement. The Syrian interim government's Minister of Information confirmed that the agreement will go into effect on February 2nd.
