National "Good House" Design Competition Results Conference Held in Beijing

The results of the national "Good House" design competition were announced on the 31st in Beijing. The competition was divided into professional group and student group, attracting more than 1700 participants from 144 domestic and foreign universities and 602 design units, submitting nearly 2000 design proposals. It is reported that this competition is hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and jointly organized by the China Architecture Society and the China Survey and Design Association. The theme of the competition is "Design for the People - Better Houses, Better Life", focusing on the diverse housing needs of the people, emphasizing the safety, comfort, greenness, and intelligence features of "Good Houses". The aim is to inspire designers and young students' creative enthusiasm, promote innovation in housing design theory and methods, widely disseminate the cutting-edge concepts, applicable technologies, and practical results of "Good Houses", and lead the construction of "Good Houses" that satisfy the people with "Good Design".
