Zhang Xing, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that the National Energy Administration had led the preparation of the "Implementation Measures for the Minimum Proportion of Renewable Energy Consumption and the Responsibility Weighting System for Renewable Energy Power Consumption". Based on the summary of practical experience and the new development situation of renewable energy, the system for weighting the responsibility of renewable energy power consumption will be further improved. At the same time, the minimum proportion targets for renewable energy power consumption and non-electric consumption in key energy consuming industries will be clarified, taking into account the industry's development situation and reasonably setting assessment transition periods. Currently, the "Measures" are undergoing relevant procedures and are scheduled to be issued soon. We will combine relevant policies on energy saving and carbon reduction at the national level, fully solicit opinions from relevant industry regulatory departments, and actively and orderly expand the scope of assessment in key energy consuming industries.
