Journalists learned from the press conference held by the National Energy Administration today that by 2025, China's energy investment will maintain rapid growth. A series of policy documents promoting high-quality development of the energy industry have been implemented, further promoting investment in the energy sector towards innovation. Data shows that in 2025, the total investment in annual key energy projects in China exceeded 3.5 trillion yuan for the first time, with a year-on-year growth of nearly 11%, which is higher than the growth of infrastructure and manufacturing industries during the same period by 12.9% and 10.1% respectively. Among them, the investment in key projects in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Shandong, Guangdong, and Jiangsu provinces all exceeded 200 billion yuan. Investments by private enterprises in the energy sector are growing rapidly, with the completion investment in key projects by private enterprises increasing by 12.9% year-on-year, which is higher than the national average for key energy projects by about 2 percentage points. A series of policy documents promoting high-quality development of the energy industry are also further driving investment towards innovation.
