During the Spring Festival holiday, vehicles can travel on toll roads free of charge during designated time periods.

The Ministry of Transport held a press conference today. Ma Ji, Deputy Director of the Highway Bureau, introduced that, according to the "Notice of the General Office of the State Council on the Arrangement of Some Holidays in 2026", the Spring Festival and its consecutive holidays in 2026 will be from February 15th to February 23rd. The free period starts from the first day of the holiday, i.e. 00:00 on February 15th, and ends at 24:00 on the last day of the holiday, i.e. February 23rd. For ordinary highways, the time when vehicles pass through toll booths is used to determine the free period, and for expressways, the time when vehicles exit from the toll booth is used. Therefore, as long as vehicles exit the toll road during the free period, no toll fee will be charged.
