Last year, domestically produced vaccines were sold for over 300 million US dollars overseas.
The data released by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products on January 29th on its official account showed that by 2025, the export value of Chinese vaccines reached 324 million US dollars, an increase of 52.63% compared to the previous year. Looking back at 2024, the export value of Chinese vaccines was 212 million US dollars, an increase of 4.92% compared to the previous year, marking the first positive growth since 2022 and breaking away from the fluctuations caused by changes in demand due to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the past three years. In 2025, Chinese vaccines were exported to 85 markets globally, with the top ten markets accounting for 70.04% of the total export value. Among them, exports to Pakistan increased by 130.53% year-on-year, exports to Brazil increased by 119.50% year-on-year, and exports to Myanmar increased by nearly 30 times.
