A total of 71,500 electric vehicle charging stations have been built in service areas along national highways in China.

Gao Bo, head of the Department of Transportation's Transportation Services Division, said at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that by the end of 2025, a total of 71,500 electric vehicle charging stations will have been built at service areas along national highways, with an additional 20,000 stations to be added in 2025, significantly improving the capacity of charging services.
