On January 29, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held the main event of the 2026 National Spring Festival Cultural and Tourism Consumption Month in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, officially launching a series of consumption month activities. The event will organize various regions to carry out cultural and tourism consumption activities around the Spring Festival holiday, better meeting the people's needs for a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year. The National Spring Festival Cultural and Tourism Consumption Month will last until early March, with various regions focusing on customs, performances, exhibitions, ice and snow tours, winter escapes, parent-child tours, and other hotspots, offering a variety of seasonal cultural and tourism products and activities. Around 30,000 cultural and tourism consumption activities will be held, with over 3.6 billion yuan in consumption subsidies distributed, including ticket reductions, ticket linkage discounts, cross-regional cultural and tourism discounts, and other measures to increase the accessibility of policies for residents and tourists, providing more cultural and tourism options for people to enjoy the Spring Festival.
