Liao Min meets Standard Chartered Group CEO Tim Waddington

Liao Min stated that by 2025, the Chinese economy will maintain steady progress, demonstrating strong resilience and vitality. In 2026, the year of the start of the "14th Five-Year Plan", China will deepen the construction of a unified national large market and steadfastly expand high-level opening up to promote high-quality economic development. Standard Chartered Group is welcomed to continue expanding investments in China and share in the benefits of development. William Winters positively evaluated the achievements of Chinese economic growth and expressed confidence in the long-term development prospects of China, and expressed willingness to continue deepening their presence in the Chinese market and promoting Sino-British economic and financial cooperation. The two sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern.
