Research: Apple's thin iPhone gamble fails to impress consumers.
The latest market research data from the Consumer Intelligence Research Partner company shows that in the first full quarter of the iPhone Air's release, only 6% of iPhone buyers surveyed in the United States chose the iPhone Air, indicating that its market acceptance lags far behind the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 ProMax. The report shows that 22% of respondents purchased the standard version of the iPhone 17, 25% chose the iPhone 17 Pro, and 27% bought the high-end iPhone 17 ProMax. Apple is scheduled to release its earnings report on Thursday afternoon Eastern Time, announcing global iPhone revenue for the quarter, but the company will not disclose specific sales data for each model.
