According to the National Health Commission, the National Conference on Occupational Health and Food Safety in 2026 was held in Beijing on January 28. Shen Hongbing, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the National Health Commission, and Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting emphasized that in 2026, we must adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the resolutions of the Central Economic Work Conference, conscientiously implement the decisions of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and deploy the national health work conference, adhere to the principle of prevention first, strengthen comprehensive management, coordinate risk prevention, promote development, benefit the people, and promote the improvement in quality and efficiency of occupational health, comprehensively enhance food safety risk monitoring and assessment, standards, and nutrition and health work, ensuring a good start and progress in the "15th Five-Year Plan."
