Institution: Beijing Becomes the Hottest Destination for Homestay Bookings During the Chinese New Year Holiday

The "2026 Spring Festival Homestay Booking Trend Report" released by Wood Bird Homestay shows that this year's homestay orders and prices are rising together. As of now, the number of homestay orders during the Spring Festival holiday has increased by 79.6% compared to the same period last year, and the average homestay consumption has increased by 15%. It is expected to set a new record and become the "hottest" Spring Festival holiday. The top ten popular domestic destinations during the Spring Festival are Beijing, Sanya, Xishuangbanna, Dali, Lingshui, Beihai, Guangzhou, Harbin, Chengdu, and Shantou. Due to the closure of Hainan and the demand for avoiding the cold, the booking popularity of homestays in Sanya, Lingshui, Wanning, Haikou, and other places in Hainan continues to rise during the Spring Festival holiday, with homestay orders doubling compared to last year's Spring Festival. Xishuangbanna, Dali, Beihai, and other popular winter destinations also see a significant increase in homestay orders, with more than 2.5 times growth compared to last year's Spring Festival.
