According to the Advanced Technology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shenzhen, the research team at the institute has successfully overcome the difficulty of using AAV to efficiently deliver long genes in the field of gene therapy after five years of research. They have proposed a new gene therapy strategy called "AAVLINK," which is expected to promote the clinical application of gene therapy technologies for neurological diseases such as autism, epilepsy, and other genetic diseases. The related findings were published in the international academic journal "Cell" on January 28th.
