According to the latest research from Omdia on the smartphone display market, global shipments of AMOLED panels for smartphones are expected to decrease to 810 million units in 2026, which is lower than the 817 million units in 2025. This will be the first decline in AMOLED shipments after three consecutive years of growth. The main reason for the decline is the shortage of memory supply and the skyrocketing prices, leading smartphone manufacturers to adjust their procurement plans for 2026.
