State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council: will solidly carry out the establishment and strategic restructuring of new central enterprises
On January 28th, Lin Qingmiao, the director of the Reform Department of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, stated at a press conference that the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission will focus on the "three concentrations" of state-owned capital, with restructuring and integration as the key point, solidly promote the optimization of the layout and structural adjustment of the state-owned economy, and accelerate the construction of more world-class enterprises. Firstly, efforts will be made to carry out the establishment and strategic restructuring of new central enterprises, highlighting the role of central enterprises in strategic security, industrial leadership, national economy and people's livelihood, and public services, and making enterprises stronger, better and larger. Secondly, deepening specialized integration, supporting enterprises with strong innovative capabilities as the main body, conducting horizontal integration of similar businesses, vertical integration of the industry chain upstream and downstream, and reducing industry duplication. Thirdly, supporting central enterprises in conducting high-quality mergers and acquisitions, acquiring core factors, seizing technological advantages, and accelerating the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industries and future industries. Lin Qingmiao emphasized the need to further strengthen restructuring and integration, fully leverage synergies, maximize the benefits of reform, continuously enhance core functions, and improve core competitiveness.
