The State Administration for Market Regulation introduced at a press conference this morning on the comprehensive rectification of "zero-sum" competition in 2025, that the concentration review of operators has played a positive role in rectifying "zero-sum" competition. Over the past year, the State Administration for Market Regulation has adhered to the principle of "rapid review without compromising quality, strict review without increasing burden", strengthening the concentration review of operators in important areas of "zero-sum" competition such as automobiles, photovoltaics, and lithium batteries, effectively supporting enterprises in lawfully completing mergers and acquisitions to activate idle assets, improve operating efficiency, and promote corporate consolidation and reorganization to move away from "zero-sum" competition. In 2025, a total of 129 cases in related fields were concluded, including various types such as promoting technological collaboration, achieving complementary advantages, optimizing production capacity layout, integrating regional resources, activating idle production capacity, and promoting transformation and upgrading.
