At the press conference on the economic operation of the Tibet Autonomous Region in 2025, it was learned that in the past year, various economic indicators such as GDP, added value of large-scale industries, and fixed asset investment in Tibet have achieved year-on-year growth, showing a good trend of breakthrough in total amount and coordinated development of industries. Tian Guanghua, Director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Bureau of Statistics, introduced that in 2025, the GDP of Tibet reached 303.189 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 7.0%; the added value of large-scale industries increased by 12.4% year-on-year; fixed asset investment increased by 17.2% year-on-year. In addition, in 2025, the per capita disposable income of all residents in Tibet, the per capita disposable income of urban residents, and the per capita disposable income of rural residents increased by 7.2%, 6.0%, and 7.4% respectively. In 2025, the general public budget revenue in Tibet exceeded 30 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%; general public budget expenditures increased by 6.3% year-on-year. The data shows that the primary industry in Tibet has maintained double-digit growth for three consecutive years, the industrial added value accounts for a double-digit percentage of the total regional GDP, and has steadily increased year by year, providing strong support for economic growth.
