Korean won falls after Trump threatens to increase tariffs on South Korea.

The South Korean won fell in early trading, after US President Donald Trump threatened to increase tariffs on South Korean goods to 25% on the grounds that the country's Congress has not yet legislated on the trade agreement reached between the two countries last year. The USD/KRW briefly rose 0.7% to 1452.25. The currency pair had fallen 1.5% the previous trading day.
