The world's largest-scale compressed air energy storage project has begun full production.
Recently, the No. 2 unit of the Guoxin Suyan Huai'an Salt Cave Compressed Air Energy Storage Demonstration Project, a project jointly built by Ha Electric Group, was successfully connected to the grid and achieved full load power generation at the same time, marking the comprehensive operation of the world's largest scale compressed air energy storage power station. It is reported that after the project is put into operation, the annual electricity generation will reach 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours, which can provide electricity for 600,000 households for one year. It can reduce coal consumption by 250,000 tons and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 600,000 tons each year, with significant environmental and energy-saving benefits.
