Nanjing: Deepening the transformation and rejuvenation of traditional industries.

The Nanjing Municipal Government issued the "Several Policies on Accelerating the Cultivation of New Quality Productivity to Promote High-Quality Development". It pointed out the need to deepen the transformation and renewal of traditional industries. It called for accelerating the pace of "reducing oil and increasing chemistry" in the petrochemical industry, and developing high-end quality products in the steel industry, while supporting upgrades in consumer goods production enterprises such as textiles, clothing, and food. It also encouraged industrial enterprises to implement large-scale technological transformation, providing funding subsidies of up to 10% of the total annual declared amount for technology equipment purchases, capped at 10 million RMB. The policy supported manufacturing enterprises in creating benchmark digital transformation models, making use of funds from national pilot cities for small and medium-sized enterprise digital transformation. Enterprises that reach the national standard level of digitalization will receive phased rewards of up to 700,000 RMB; while outstanding service providers will receive rewards of up to 1 million RMB based on the number of serviced enterprises and the level of digitalization achieved. The policy also aimed to accelerate the promotion of green development in the manufacturing industry, supporting enterprises in establishing national-level green factories and green supply chain management companies.
