The Taiyuan Intermediate People's Court ruled to accept the bankruptcy reorganization of Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd.

On January 25, Shanxi Meitehao Chain Supermarket Co., Ltd. announced that according to the decision document of Jin 01 Bankruptcy No. 1 made by the Intermediate people's Court of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province on January 25, 2026, the reorganization work group of Shanxi Meitehao Chain Supermarket Co., Ltd. was designated as the administrator of Meitehao's bankruptcy reorganization. The announcement stated that Shan Nong Investment Co., Ltd. will continue to be entrusted with the management and operation of Meitehao; the original Meitehao stored value card usage method will continue to be implemented according to the announcement issued on January 12, 2026; creditors should declare their debts to the administrator by March 31, 2026.
