The comprehensive transportation Spring Festival Transport in 2026 will start from February 2nd and end on March 13th, lasting a total of 40 days. Through comprehensive analysis, the following characteristics of the 2026 Spring Festival Transport are expected:
First, the cross-regional flow of people in the whole society may reach a historical high, posing greater challenges to the guarantee of public travel services.
Second, the Spring Festival holiday period has been extended, the public's willingness to travel has increased, and coping with large passenger flows will face significant tests.
Third, the number of self-driving trips, especially those using new energy vehicles, will continue to increase, placing higher demands on maintaining smooth roads, ensuring charging services.
Fourth, the peak return travel during the Spring Festival Transport coincides with the national "Two Sessions" meetings, leading to a high concentration of return passenger flows on roads to Beijing, the Qiongzhou Strait, and other passages.
Fifth, harsh weather conditions such as low temperatures, rain, snow, and ice are more likely to occur, posing challenges for high-intensity operations of commercial vehicles and vessels, making the tasks of ensuring Spring Festival Transport safety production and emergency response more arduous.
