The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other 11 departments recently issued a joint notice, deploying the 2026 "Spring Warmth for Migrant Workers" service action to ensure the service and guarantee work for migrant workers during the Spring Festival. According to the notice, local authorities will go to the grassroots where migrant workers gather, carry out extensive visits and condolences, and promptly solve the sudden and urgent basic living difficulties encountered by migrant workers. They will actively identify the travel needs of migrant workers returning to their hometowns or workplaces, and organize "point-to-point" transportation services such as dedicated cars, trains, and planes as needed to facilitate ticket purchases for migrant workers. They will also organize various online and offline job fairs, and classify and publish job information. They will promote a project-based training model of "job demand + skills training + skills assessment + employment services", encouraging migrant workers to improve their skills and employment opportunities. In addition, local authorities will also organize rich cultural and artistic activities for migrant workers, conduct free medical consultations in rural areas, and community health activities to protect the labor rights and interests of migrant workers.
