A collapse accident occurred at a gold mine in southern Sudan, resulting in 6 deaths.

Sudanese grassroots organization "Sudan Doctors Network" issued a statement on the local time of the 24th, stating that a collapse occurred at the Abu Jubaiha gold mine in the South Kordofan State in southern Sudan on the 23rd, resulting in the death of 6 miners and 12 others injured. The statement also indicated that there are still dozens of miners trapped underground with their whereabouts unknown. As of now, the Sudanese government has not yet responded to this incident.
