World Steel Association: Global crude steel production reached 1.849 billion tons in 2025.

On January 23, according to data from the World Steel Association, the global crude steel output of the 70 countries/regions included in the World Steel Association's statistics is expected to be 140 million tons in December 2025, a decrease of 3.7% compared to the previous year. The global crude steel output for the whole year of 2025 is estimated to be 1.849 billion tons.
