On January 20, 2026, the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration organized and held the Shanghai Information and Communication Industry Work Conference for 2026. The meeting studied and conveyed the spirits of the National Industrial and Information Work Conference and the National Information and Communication Regulatory Work Conference, comprehensively reviewed the industry's experience and achievements during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and in 2025, scientifically assessed the opportunities and challenges facing development in the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, and made systematic deployments for the key work in the "15th Five-Year Plan" period and in 2026.
