The "Polar" icebreaker ship has fully launched a comprehensive survey of sea ice in Liaodong Bay.
With the continuous cold wave weather, sea ice in the Bohai Sea and Liaodong Bay has been rapidly developing. Currently, the sea ice area has reached 12,953 square kilometers, covering more than 40% of the Liaodong Bay. Recently, China's latest generation of icebreaking research vessel, the "Polar" ship, has ventured into the core ice area of Liaodong Bay to fully commence comprehensive sea ice research work.
