In 2025, the tobacco industry achieved a total business tax and profit of 1.657 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year.

The information released by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration on January 22nd shows that by 2025, the total industrial and commercial tax profits in the tobacco industry will reach 1.657 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%; the total fiscal revenue will reach 1.58 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. Both the total tax profits and fiscal revenue in the tobacco industry have reached historic highs.
