On January 20, 2026, the National Medical Security Administration held a "Price Approval Empowering Medical Technology Innovation Development Sharing Event" in Beijing. Nearly 200 representatives from relevant departments, local medical insurance departments, medical institutions, university associations, investment institutions, and medical device companies attended the event. Over 20 companies brought dozens of medical devices for on-site display. Next, the National Medical Security Administration will complete the compilation of the approval guidelines comprehensively, promote the basic unification of national medical service price projects, work on improving the management methods for new medical service price projects, explore the initiation of price approval work, guide local areas to enhance the quality and efficiency of the acceptance and review of new price projects, accelerate clinical transformation, stabilize market expectations, and ensure that the public can access high-quality, efficient, and affordable medical services.
