Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: The rural sanitation toilet coverage rate has reached around 77%.

On January 22, Zhang Xingwang, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, introduced at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that by 2025, the living environment of rural residents in China will continue to improve, with a rural sanitation toilet coverage rate of around 77%, and continuous improvement in the conditions of infrastructure such as water, electricity, roads, and telecommunications. The level of public services such as education, healthcare, and elderly care has significantly improved.
