The Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China has issued a proposal on formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Suzhou, in which it mentioned accelerating the development of the Shanghai-Suzhou integrated urbanization. Actively serving Shanghai and playing a leading role, deeply integrating into the construction of Shanghai's "five centers" and the development of the Shanghai metropolitan area. Promote cooperation in science and technology innovation platforms, share innovative resources, and enhance the international competitiveness of the Shanghai-Suzhou science and technology innovation cluster. Collaboratively build world-class high-end industry clusters in integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, automobiles, and large aircraft. Jointly promote the upgrade and expansion of the Hongqiao International Open Hub, actively connect to the Shanghai Oriental Hub International Business Cooperation Zone, and further promote the liberalization and facilitation of investment and trade. Strengthen the interconnection of transportation infrastructure, co-build and share public services, and jointly protect and govern the ecological environment. Promote the improvement of the institutional mechanisms for integrated urbanization development.
