The meeting emphasized the importance of accurately grasping the situation and challenges facing the 2026 Spring Festival transport work. It is estimated that during this year's Spring Festival transport period, the volume of cross-regional population movement and railway and civil aviation passenger traffic are expected to reach record highs for the same period in history. Self-driving travel will still be the main mode of transportation, with significant pressure on road decongestion and safety risk prevention, extreme weather response, etc., requiring strong measures to ensure the safety and needs of the public. Strengthen dynamic analysis of passenger flow, fully tap the potential of transportation, coordinate and allocate transport capacity, increase supply of transport capacity in key areas, hot routes, and peak periods, and maximize satisfaction of the travel needs of the public. Second, optimize and improve travel services. Continuously optimize online ticket purchases, self-service security checks, waiting for transfers, etc., strengthen road decongestion and guarantee services for self-driving travel, and enhance guidance for staggered travel for students, migrant workers, tourists, etc. Third, enhance the safety level of Spring Festival transport.
