The reporter learned from the Shaanxi Company of the West Chengdu High-speed Railway that on January 21, the construction of the longest tunnel on the main line of the Xiyu High-speed Railway, the Yujialiang Tunnel, has made important progress. After more than 680 days of hard work, the safety through the tunnel section of over a kilometer has been achieved, laying a solid foundation for the timely completion of the entire tunnel. The Xiyu High-speed Railway starts from Xi'an in the north and goes to Chongqing in the south, with a total length of about 739 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is the first high-speed railway in China to traverse the hinterland of the Daba Mountains.
