Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Will expand the coverage of "renewal of second phone numbers"

On January 21, the State Council Information Office held a press conference. Relevant officials introduced that basic telecommunications companies have refreshed more than 250 million second numbers in batches before releasing them, and have unbound internet applications more than 1 billion times. The official App and mini-program have launched the "Active Refresh" service entrance, supporting the unbinding of historical links with 239 commonly used internet applications, processing unbinding applications for more than 3.6 billion times for over 5.8 million users. Next, they will expand the coverage of "second number refresh" and promote the connection to more internet applications closely related to people's livelihoods.
