On January 21st, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the development achievements of the industry and information technology in 2025. Zhang Yunming, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technology, stated that by 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will focus on promoting the deep integration of scientific and industrial innovation, and implement key core technology breakthroughs, industrial base reconstruction projects, and major technological equipment breakthrough projects. Artificial intelligence is injecting strong momentum into industrial economic growth, with industrial robot production increasing by 28% year-on-year and sales of new energy vehicles reaching 16.49 million units, an increase of 28.2% year-on-year. Investment in emerging industries is showing strong growth momentum, with double-digit growth in industries such as aerospace and equipment manufacturing.
