The President of Lebanon said that efforts will be made to help the country break free from regional conflicts.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, on the 20th, Lebanese President Michel Aoun said during a meeting with foreign diplomatic delegations that he will strive to help Lebanon overcome regional conflicts. At the same time, the Lebanese government is working to strengthen national authority and maintain domestic stability. Aoun stated that national authority must be established throughout Lebanon through the country's security agencies. Currently, the Lebanese army has effectively controlled the area south of the Litani River and eliminated a large number of illegal weapons, which is the most important achievement in the past 40 years.
