Journalists learned from the news briefing on the strengthening of low-altitude flight safety supervision and guarantee work in Shanghai on the 20th that starting from February 1st, Shanghai will implement a series of measures to strengthen the low-altitude flight safety supervision and guarantee system jointly launched by multiple departments. The Shanghai Low Altitude Flight Services Center will also officially start operating simultaneously, providing one-stop services for low-altitude flight users including flight activity applications, airspace information inquiries, flight information, and emergency response. By 2025, Shanghai will have registered nearly 800 drone operating companies, with approximately 220,000 drones registered, and an annual flight volume exceeding 3.2 million flights. In order to ensure the healthy and orderly development of low-altitude economy and address issues such as "illegal flying" and "disorderly flying" of drones, multiple departments in Shanghai are jointly promoting the construction of low-altitude flight service management and guarantee capability.
