Illegal armed conflict in central and southern Colombia has resulted in the deaths of approximately 30 people.

According to local news released on the 19th, the Colombian military confirmed that two illegal armed groups that split from the former anti-government guerrilla group "Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces" recently engaged in intense clashes in the Guaviare province in the central-southern part of the country, resulting in approximately 30 deaths.
