Cold waves, freezing temperatures, and strong winds are being warned to occur, and temperatures in some areas of the south may drop by more than 10 degrees Celsius.
The China Meteorological Administration issued a blue cold wave warning at 6:00 on January 20th. Due to the influence of the cold wave, it is predicted that from 8:00 on January 20th to 20:00 on January 21st, the western part of Jianghuai, the eastern and southern parts of Jiangnan, the southeastern part of the southwestern region, and South China will experience a temperature drop of 4-6C. In some areas such as the southern part of Jiangxi, western Fujian, southern Guizhou, northern Guangxi, and northern Guangdong, the temperature may drop by up to 8C, with localized drops exceeding 10C. By the morning of January 21st, the 0C line will shift south to the southern part of Guizhou - the northern part of Guangxi - the southern part of Jiangxi - the southern part of Zhejiang.
