Cofco Technology recently stated during a reception for institutions that Allulose is a new product developed in collaboration with the Nutrition Research Institute, with the main ingredient being fruit glucose syrup and produced through enzymatic conversion. The project has been in development for 8 years and its technology conversion efficiency is industry-leading. The company is currently focusing on capacity deployment in three stages: in the first stage, it is collaborating with a Shandong company to quickly start production using their equipment; in the second stage, it is renovating idle equipment in Yushu, with production expected to start in 2026; in the third stage, it is reserving a capacity of 10,000 tons in a project in the northwest. The company emphasizes that capacity construction will be flexibly adjusted based on market feedback, with a focus on market development and cooperation with leading companies.
