RHB economists are optimistic about Singapore's exports in 2026. They wrote in a research report that the global economic environment is resilient, supported by factors such as loose monetary conditions, and exports may benefit from this. The manufacturing sector will benefit from strong global demand for AI-related semiconductors, servers, and other tech products. The industry will also benefit from the positive spillover effects of the current upcycle in electronic products and strong regional demand. These economists stated: "Electronics and engineering continue to be key strengths within the manufacturing sector." RHB maintains its forecast of 3.0% growth in Singapore's non-oil domestic exports in 2026.
