Abdulrahman Mahdrami, a member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Committee, said on the 18th that the dialogue between various factions in southern Yemen supported by Saudi Arabia is a rare opportunity that should not be wasted or undermined by creating internal conflicts in the south. Mahdrami attended a consultation meeting in the Saudi capital Riyadh that day with the theme "On the Road to Dialogue". Representatives of various factions from southern Yemen, tribal leaders, and prominent figures attended the meeting to seek solutions to the issue of southern Yemen. Mahdrami read a statement at the meeting saying that Saudi Arabia's position is in line with the legitimate demands of the people of southern Yemen, "We have been clearly informed that there is no intention to exclude or marginalize any individual or faction in the south".
