The mass production of sodium energy million-ton level lithium iron phosphate cathode material production base has begun.
According to information from Zong Na Energy, the company's Meishan base officially started production on January 17th. This is the industry's first production base for sodium iron sulfate positive electrode materials with a capacity of over ten thousand tons. It is reported that after reaching full production capacity in the first phase, the shortest delivery period will only be one week, which can directly promote the landing of at least 5GWh of sodium battery production capacity planning. According to the company's responsible person, after the Meishan base goes into mass production, the price of sodium positive electrode materials will impact the "over 10,000" price range, with a potential cost reduction of over 50% compared to lithium iron phosphate materials.
