China Railway Beijing Bureau will implement a new train timetable, and for the first time, a high-speed train will run from Beijing to Yan'an.
On January 17, reporters learned from China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. that a new train operation plan will be implemented by National Railways Beijing Bureau starting from midnight on January 26. This adjustment closely revolves around national strategic deployment and regional economic development needs, aiming to enhance the overall efficiency of the railway network, optimize passenger travel experience, and strengthen freight guarantee capabilities. Through measures such as increasing train services, optimizing routes, and speeding up capacity expansion, the goal is to empower regional economic cooperation and accelerate public transportation. In this adjustment, the high-speed EMU train service from Beijing to Yan'an will be introduced for the first time, with the first stop at Shijiazhuang Station, connecting the two important revolutionary holy sites of Xibaipo and Yan'an, creating an efficient and convenient transportation bridge for red tourism and cultural inheritance, as well as injecting new energy into the revitalization and development of revolutionary old areas.
