The first ship carrying manganese ore has arrived in China.

According to China Baowu Steel Group Limited, the first shipment of nearly 200,000 tons of Simandou iron ore arrived at the China Baowu Maji Mountain Port in Shengsi, Zhejiang on January 17th. At 11:48 on the same day, the "WINNING YOUTH" cargo ship departed from the port of Maraba in Guinea, after a 46-day, 10958 nautical miles long voyage, safely berthed at Pier 2 of the Maji Mountain Port. The completion of the comprehensive channel of the Simandou iron ore project will significantly enhance the supply capacity of iron ore and inject new energy into the global iron ore supply.
