National electricity safety production video conference held in Beijing in 2026: Accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces for electricity safety

On January 16, the National Energy Administration held a national television and telephone conference on electricity safety production for 2026 in Beijing. The meeting emphasized the need to earnestly implement the spirit of the Party's 20th National Congress and all previous sessions, faithfully implement the important instructions and comments on safety production from General Secretary Xi Jinping, adhere to the development ideology centered on the people, balance development and safety, aim for the goal of building a strong energy country, develop and implement high-quality "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" for electricity safety production, focus on enhancing the inherent safety level of electricity, carry out special governance actions for electricity safety production, further strengthen emergency preparedness in the electricity sector, accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces for electricity safety, and ensure the implementation of key tasks in electricity safety supervision to guarantee high-level electricity safety for high-quality economic development.
