In order to govern the phenomena of "multiple certificates for one product, one certificate for multiple products, and one product for multiple standards," the National Medical Insurance Administration issued a document on January 16 to optimize and adjust medical consumables such as bone, cartilage, and soft tissue implant materials, forming standardized and unified medical insurance common names. After the adjustment, one primary classification, 18 secondary classifications, and 126 tertiary classifications are involved, resulting in the revision and formation of 260 medical insurance common names.
